Hi, I'm Nana Kofi Okae, a software engineering student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), graduating in December 2024.
I've been building projects for four years—from creating my professors website to developing my senior capstone project, and many more, which can be found on my GitHub.
I worked as a Full Stack Developer Intern @ Salesforce, where I learned the fundamentals of full-stack development and contributed to building a workspace security simulation platform alongside three amazing engineers.
I also have experience designing complex solutions as a 2x Product Design intern @ Duolingo, working on the subscription packaging team and learning about research and development (R&D).
Over the years, I've found a passion for products that bring people joy, where the smallest details can make a huge difference in a user's experience.
Outside of tech, I love collecting Funko Pops, watching One Piece, weightlifting, and playing video games. I recently got into cars and am really enjoying learning about the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
I'm currently seeking new grad roles in software, frontend, or design engineering.
